The Army Corps of Engineers is setting aside a multiple award design/build requirement for SDVOSBs.  See the FBO synopsis notice attached. (The contracts will be valued up to 49 Mil). 

The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on June 21 with pre-proposal conference scheduled for June 30.

Nation’s First Veterans Business Resource Center

to Receive Critical 5 Year Federal Funding

ST. LOUIS (April 8, 2010) – The Veterans Business Resource Center has been awarded an annually renewable grant of $150,000 to continue administrative functions in support of the entrepreneurial training and counseling programs conducted by the Center.  The VBRC, which will celebrate its sixth anniversary on June 7, has worked tirelessly to continue operating and serving current and future Veteran business owners after nearly closing a year ago when funding became unavailable.  This funding is in the form of a cooperative agreement with the US Small Business Administration, Office of Veterans Business Development.  This project spans five years of initial year funding and four option years.  The Center provides individually tailored advice, training, seminars and an annual summit for Veterans who wish to start or expand a company.
